Thanks to Con O'Connell for his great feeback on Durapak Cubicle Mats.

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to trial both sets of (cubicle) mats. Namely the green 30mm high density and the light blue 15mm medium.

I found the green thicker 30mm far superior as a ground base flooring mat. As we had been working off a rough concrete surface, the green 30mm gave us an immediate quality surface to work off. Because of its high density they are a weighty mat & when they are interlocked they create a very stable flooring structure. Just as the high density is a positive for stability, it is a negative for cushioning. There is less give on the green 30mm then the 15mm Blue matting. As a result we are using 2 blue mats joined length ways as individual exercise mats, which are placed on top of the very solid green 30mm flooring mats.

If we were working off a sprung timber flooring I would get away with the blue thinner 15mm exercise mats.

But as a complete gym flooring you could not go past the Green high density 30mm flooring mats.

Durapak Cubicle Mats are made from Ethyl-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA) which is a non-porous polymer providing a soft, warm, comfortable cubicle mat for all livestock including cows, weanlings, pigs and horses. All animals spend more time lying in cubicles without mats. Independent researchers working with cows have discovered that cows spent more time in cubicles which contained mats. It was found that cubicles with mats were re-occupied very quickly after a cow had left. This meant that a cubicle with mats was used over four times each night compared to twice for the cubicles without mats.
